🚗 Early morning drive to Alexandria (approx. 3 hours) – the city of Alexander the Great on the Mediterranean coast.

🏺 Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa: A breathtaking fusion of Egyptian, Greek and Roman funerary art carved beneath the city in the 2nd century AD – one of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World.

🏰 Qaitbay Citadel: Built in 1477 AD on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria – one of the original Seven Wonders. Panoramic Mediterranean views.

🏛️ Pompey’s Pillar: A 26.85-metre monolithic column of red Aswan granite – the only free-standing column of its kind in Roman Egypt, weighing 285 tons.

🗓️ Day 4 – Grand Egyptian Museum | Old Cairo | Khan el-Khalili

🏛️ Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): Over 100,000 artefacts including the complete Tutankhamun collection of more than 5,000 objects discovered in 1922.

🕌 El Moez Street – one of the most beautiful medieval Islamic streets in the world. Khan el-Khalili Bazaar – Cairo’s legendary oriental market since the 14th century.

🗓️ Day 5 – Fayoum: Wadi El Hitan & El Rayyan Waterfalls

🚗 Early morning departure to Fayoum Oasis (approx. 1 hour from Cairo).

🐋 Wadi El Hitan (Valley of the Whales): A UNESCO World Heritage Site containing the fossils of 40-million-year-old ancient whales – Archaeoceti – that once swam in the ancient Tethys Sea. One of the most important palaeontological sites in the world.

💧 El Rayyan Waterfalls: Egypt’s only natural waterfall – a dramatic cascade in the middle of the desert landscape.

🗓️ Day 6 – Memphis & National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC)

🏛️ National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC): One of Egypt’s newest world-class museums, housing the extraordinary Royal Mummies Hall – 22 royal mummies of pharaohs and queens displayed with state-of-the-art technology including Ramses II and Hatshepsut.

🗓️ Day 7 – Citadel | Alabaster Mosque | Coptic Cairo | Flight to Luxor | Nile Cruise Embarkation

🗓️ Day 8 – Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple

🗓️ Day 9 – Edfu Temple & Kom Ombo Temple

🦅 Edfu Temple (Temple of Horus): The best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt, built between 237–57 BC. Its 36-metre pylons are among the most dramatic in the country.

🐊 Kom Ombo Temple: The unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus the Elder – perfectly symmetrical, built during the Ptolemaic and Roman periods.

🗓️ Day 10 – Philae Temple | Aswan High Dam | Unfinished Obelisk

🏛️ Philae Temple: The island temple of Isis – relocated stone by stone in a UNESCO rescue operation. Surrounded by water, one of Egypt’s most photogenic sites.

🏗️ Aswan High Dam: An engineering marvel of the 20th century creating Lake Nasser – 550 km long and one of the world’s largest reservoirs.

🪨 Unfinished Obelisk: 42 metres long, weighing 1,168 tons – abandoned in the quarry when a crack appeared 3,500 years ago.

🗓️ Day 11 – Abu Simbel Temples

Early morning – private vehicle to Abu Simbel (approx. 3 hours each way).

🏛️ Temple of Ramses II: Four colossal statues standing 20 metres tall – twice a year sunlight penetrates 60 metres to illuminate the inner sanctuary.

🏛️ Temple of Queen Nefertari: One of only two temples built by a pharaoh to honour his wife.

💡 Both temples were relocated 65 metres higher between 1964–1968 in one of the greatest UNESCO rescue operations in history.
