We had a fantastic speedboat tour with Memnon Reisen today. We were picked up from our hotel right on time. Since we already knew the guide, we greeted him with a firm handshake and a hug. We had booked a 4-hour private speedboat trip to Orange Bay with two snorkeling stops. Everything went perfectly. We can wholeheartedly recommend this company here in Hurghada. You can absolutely rely on the guys. Whether it's the limousine, the boat, the guide, or the booking process, it's incredibly easy. Everything is done via WhatsApp. Several payment options are available. A top provider for everything your heart desires when it comes to activities and trips. Totally trustworthy. Magdy gave us an unforgettable day at the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, and a Nile cruise.
We were guided through the bazaar, and the driver chauffeured us safely.
All in all, an unforgettable day. The pick-up and return journey from Hurghada to Cairo, and vice versa, were also superbly organized.

What a fantastic experience with Memnon Reisen on a round trip from Hurghada to Cairo. Our group of 10 (two families) selected them over several other options—not based on price (as you can find lower prices), but for what we considered a better overall deal—after extensive conversations via WhatsApp. Osman and Ahmed were not only always ready with a prompt answer (even in the late-night hours), but they also had the patience to explain their offer in detail, often more than once.
At first, every offer looks the same except for the price, but when you look deep into the details, the differences become clear. For big groups like ours, Memnon organizes private tours in high-quality vehicles like the Toyota Coaster (which looked brand new), provides refreshments, and hires drivers who are professional and experienced. This made the 22-hour round trip much more positive than expected.
The focus of our excursion was on the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), which is where Hani the Egyptologist really shines. He was exactly what our group needed: calm, charming, knowledgeable, and highly efficient at navigating the sites. He was perhaps a bit too realistic at times, given that we had six teenagers familiar with some of the unsolved pyramid mysteries, but with only a few hours to cover thousands of years, the facts must come first—and there were plenty of those to cover.
Lunch at the Royal Lotus restaurant was a very decent buffet option—honestly, a very clean and solid choice. We didn’t expect à la carte, of course, and the proximity to the GEM was a big plus (just a couple of minutes away).
The newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is an absolute must-see, offering an incredible, climate-controlled journey through history that culminates in the first-ever complete display of Pharaoh Tutankhamun’s 5,000 golden treasures. Between the soaring Grand Staircase and the massive glass walls framing a perfect view of the Giza Pyramids, this state-of-the-art complex feels like a modern temple. We were certainly right to choose the agency that includes the GEM as a default part of the tour, unlike many others.
To cut a long story short, the trip to Cairo with Memnon Reisen was very well organized in every aspect, and we would gladly use their services again.

We had a day tour for two in Luxor starting from Soma Bay with Memnon Reisen on 30.12.2025. Everything was perfectly organized. The driver , Ali was very nice, polite and careful. Our guide, Malik, was exceptional: he knew everything about Egypt history and spoke an excellent German. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Amazing experience. Firstly our driver Mohammed was prompt at the time to pick us up. Although his English wasn’t great we didn’t really mind as we were only going from A to B and plus it was early hours of morning. On the way from Hurghada to Cairo there are several stops along the way as you all travel in a big convoy. This must be for security reasons. We left out hotel at 1.15am and with all the breaks and stops we arrived in Cairo at 8am.
Our guide Ali was there to meet us. Ali spoke really good English which we really appreciated. The tour itself was amazing. Ali knows his stuff as he is an official Egyptologist. Ali explained all about the lower, middle and higher kingdoms and took us on a journey through them with the locations, mummification and art. I would highly recommended this tour operator as was first class. Going back was easier as you can leave at any time with no convoy. Lunch and admission fees were also included.

Yesterday we went on a day tour in Luxor. It was just great and beautiful. Our guide Nasch is simply great. As an experienced Egyptologist, he was able to answer my questions very well. He showed us places away from the crowds of tourists that are not shown anywhere on any TV shows. Bay near Memnon and here since then in the right hands.

My trip (by Nile ship from Luxor to Aswan, drive back to Luxor, three nights there, a flight to Cairo, three nights in Cairo) was excellently organized. Everything worked out perfectly!
I would particularly like to highlight the performance of Mr. Malek, who was my guide. He has a lot of knowledge and is extremely kind and helpful.

We have already booked 2 trips with Memnon, the last trip in December 2024. We drove from Hurghada to Luxor to see the Valley of the Kings and other sights. We booked a private trip because we wanted to be completely flexible in our decisions. We were picked up at the hotel by 2 drivers. @Toni and @Akram. They spoke German and English and drove us to Luxor very safely. We also found it very good that the drivers could take turns. In Luxor we had an excellent tour guide who gave us an interesting insight into the history of Egypt.
We had a great day and can 100% recommend Memnon.

On January 8, 2025 we were very fortunate to be able to do a day trip through Memnon Reisen. This day was an unforgettable experience for us. Starting with our driver Ibrahim, who arrived at our hotel very punctually and transported us to our complete satisfaction throughout the entire trip, to our professional and extremely nice guide Naschaat. We were extremely lucky to find him because, as Egyptologists, he was able to tell us a lot about history and life in ancient Egypt. We were allowed to decide the course of our day trip independently and Nasch provided us with all the information on the individual stages. A really recommendable agency that we will definitely book with again. Thank you again at this point!

We had the most incredible day trip to Luxor last week. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our driver, Ibrahim, was right on time and made the journey so smooth.
The highlight of the day was our tour guide, Gerges. His deep knowledge and fascinating insights really brought the history to life. We got to see the stunning temples and tombs, having priority access made the experience so much more enjoyable.
Even though Luxor is a busy tourist spot, Gerges managed to take us to quieter spots, giving us a more peaceful and intimate experience. The facts he shared were so unique and impressive, with details that you just wouldn't find in a guidebook. I can’t recommend this tour enough—it was worth every penny and more!

we booked a privat 14 Days round trip ancient Egypt with my wife including some travel days on the Nile. We had 2 different guides (Egyptologists), one for lower and another for upper Egypt. Both were excellent and we had more than just archaeological talks.
Memnon proposed a journey based on our interests and their historical and local knowledge and adjusted it to our individual preferences
All for a fair price. Completely stress free. Everything functioned perfect. Strongly recommeded for couples, families, some friends who want no show, but the real stuff and are not familiar with Egypt.
We are individual travelers. This was our first organised sightseeing holiday / round trip and I am convinced it was the absulutely right joice for Egypt.
That does not mean, that I would not make some individual adaptions und changes or alterations, as I would after every holiday, but that would mainly be to visit more points of interest.

Today we had the quad tour with a visit to the Bedouin village followed by food and folklore. It was a very successful tour. Very private and had time for all questions and photos. Our tour guide Schauki was great!! Nice, funny guy who you could joke with and was open to any questions.

The dolphin trip was a great day. It was a lot of fun and you could discover a lot while snorkeling. Overall it was very nice and we can definitely recommend it.

During our vacation in Marsa Alam, we didn't just want to lie on the beach, we also wanted to get to know the wonderful history of the country better. That's why we came across Memnon Reisen online. The very friendly contact went smoothly via WhatsApp. The lovely staff always had an answer and travel tips ready and were always available.
We then booked the private tour to Luxor as a group (4 people) and the tour to Abydos and Dendera for two people. Both times we were picked up on time in clean vehicles by very, very nice drivers and brought safely to our destination. Osama was our guide on both days and conveyed his comprehensive knowledge to us in a lively manner in perfect German. He had an answer to every one of our questions and was always warm and friendly.

Hello from Pickalbatros Palace.
We had a really fantastic boat tour today with probably the best tour guide in all of Egypt, Achmed. He looked after us well at every second, enriched us with very interesting information and there was really nothing here that we were missing in any way.
The boat tour included 3 guided snorkeling trips of 40 to 60 minutes on beautiful reefs north of Hurghada. When we arrived at the third spot, we were able to admire the west side of the Fanadir Reef for a good hour on our own, if we wished, alone. We were looked after perfectly throughout the day by our tour guide and the boat team and never had the feeling of being rushed. The food was also very good and I can say that after a total of 6 trips in 2 years, this was the most beautiful trip with a fantastic team.
In the future, we will only book our excursions through Memnonreisen and wish everyone who does the same a lot of fun on their next trip. Thank you dear team and hopefully see you soon.

My wife and I booked a trip from Hurghada to Asuan. The organiser Osman was very cooperative in planning. Our guide Mumin was a highly educated egyptologist. He also was very friendly and helpful to us.

We had a wonderful one day trip from Makadi Bay to Luxor. Everything was just perfect, starting with the easy communication over WhatsApp during booking, the driver bringing us to Luxor in a comfortable car and with Ayman, our excellent guide showing us the wonderful sights of Luxor. It was a wonderful day and I can fully reccomend Memnon Reisen! Next time we will certainly book with them again.

I had such a great experience with Osman, and his team Malek, Atef, Rafat and all the other drivers. Osman and his team facilitated my entire trip from Hurghada to Marsa Alam, Aswan, Luxor, Cairo and many more stops in between. They took care of all the organisation and that I will have an unforgettable experience. They know the area very well, to avoid crowds and provide you with all the detail there is to know about Egypt's history and today's culture. Highly recommend him and his team.

We've done 2 trips, Luxor from Hurghada with the hot hair balloon and then we did the Paradise Island trip, it was incredible.
They were 24 hour responsive, they provide information about everything, were always 100% punctual! The transfers were amazing and the drivers were so nice.
Our experience in Luxor was absolutely perfect! The hot air balloon ride was a one in a life time experience: watching the sunrise over the Valley of the Kings and the Nile, breath taking. Our guide (Atif) explained EVERYTHING in detail and answered every question, he was just the best. And we got to enjoy 1 hour in the Nile boat all by ourselves! It was so relaxing. Our driver (Michael) was always asking if we needed cool water and snacks (that were available throughout the whole tour).
If you visit Egypt you can trust Memnon Raisen for great experiences and great services!

Collected promptly by our guide (Momen) and 2 drivers from our hotel.
Bottled water supplied all day (and it was cold!) which was very much needed as the temperature was 45 degrees.
The guide was fantastic and a big shout out to him (Momen), he was knowledgeable, fun, interesting and fanatical about Egyptology.
Karnak Temple was so impressive and definitely one of the trips highlights. Valley of the Kings was also great, the tombs are jaw dropping when you are actually stood inside and you can witness the intricacy of the hieroglyphics, the colours and you also have the option of seeing Tutankhamun!
The excursion includes a visit to Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon. The 1 hour Nile cruise is more like 20 minutes. We were not on a felluca boat but a small boat with a motor. It was pleasant enough. Momen sorted out the tip for the captain of the boat so we didn't need to.
Lunch was a traditional Egyptian meal (chicken, beef or veggie option). This was really nice. Drinks are not included in the excursion cost and can be expensive.
You will also stop off at a Papyrus shop and an Alabaster shop who will try to sell you everything at highly inflated prices. I'm sure if you said to tour guide you would rather not visit these places then this could be arranged. If you do visit, please barter and be prepared to walk away.
Take some small EGP/Euro currency as you have to pay to use the bathrooms as the stop off points.
If you visit in the height of summer, I would advise umbrellas to help shield you from the sun, high factor sun screen, hats and to wear loose fitting clothing - ideally that cover your arms/legs as you will be outside for the majority of the day.
