Hurghada Marina
Visit Hurghada Marina, also known as the New Marina, opened on June 6, 2008. It’s a charming spot where both locals and visitors stroll and enjoy the fresh evening air. The marina features unique cafés, excellent restaurants with affordable prices, and impressive yachts owned by wealthy Egyptian and Arab elites. A walk along the harbor is truly worth it.

El Mina Mosque
The El Mina Mosque, completed in 2012, is a stunning example of modern Arabic art. Visitors are welcome outside of prayer times. Women can borrow a robe (abaya) at the entrance to cover their hair, shoulders, and legs.

The mosque spans 8,000 square meters and can hold up to 10,000 visitors. It has two minarets and 25 domes. During your visit, your German-speaking guide will share fascinating insights about Islam, prayer traditions, and the mosque’s role in the community.

Next to the mosque, you’ll visit a boatyard where wooden boats are built and restored.

Coptic Orthodox Church
Explore the newest Coptic Orthodox church in Hurghada. Learn about Egypt’s Christian community, which makes up nearly 20% of the population.

Your guide will explain Christian traditions, including weekly mass schedules, baptism practices, and the celebration of festivals like Christmas (January 7th in Egypt versus December 25th in Europe).

Fish Market
The fish market, located between the marina and the mosque, is one of Hurghada’s most traditional spots. The newly renovated market showcases a variety of colorful sea and Nile fish. Watch locals trade and buy fresh catches, and take memorable photos with your guide.

Vegetable Market
Visit the “Souk,” a lively fruit and vegetable market where locals shop. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, interact with friendly traders, and get a glimpse of everyday Egyptian life. Feel free to take photos to capture the experience.

Free Time
Conclude your tour with a relaxing stroll through the 3 km street bazaar, which even includes a McDonald’s. This memorable day ends with a drive back to your hotel, leaving you with wonderful memories of Hurghada.
