1 Pick-up from your hotel lobby at around 5:30 a.m. Departure by air-conditioned car or minibus via Safaga on the desert road – approx. 225 km to the Nile Valley in Qena. Short comfort break on the way.
2 Continue approx. 60 km along the Nile Valley to Luxor.
3 Visit Karnak Temple – the largest temple complex in the world, with its legendary hypostyle hall of 134 columns. Transfer to Thebes West and lunch in a typical Egyptian café.
4 Guided tour inside the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings – including the tomb of Tutankhamun. Mobile phone photography without flash is now allowed free of charge.
5 Visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut – spectacular terraces and one of the most photographed monuments in Egypt.
