First of all, these are the famous pyramids and the Sphinx in the capital Cairo. You can visit Cairo in one day by bus or private limousine, as well as by plane. The famous Khan El-Khalili bazaar is no less unique. Let yourself be immersed in Eastern Arabic flavors, smells, and the serenity of the merchants. And do it yourself.
Not to be missed is a short visit to Memphis and its history, as well as a visit to the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque, actually the Mohammed Ali Mosque. An evening stroll down El Moez Street with old Islamic buildings is an adventure in itself on day trips in Egypt.
The museum, which houses about 50,000 artifacts, and the recently built museum near the pyramids, where, among other things, the mummies of ancient kings and queens were recently brought, are also interesting for those interested in Egypt. And these are not all the places that can be visited in Cairo.
